2007: Free Web page created for community organization
2007: The website is hosted at "1and1"
When the Manotick Directory "disappeared" from the Web several times with a previous ISP, and we could not get it repaired, we immediately moved to a new and better ISP in June 2007. We got better service at less cost. Try their services for your own website:2006: "613-" added to all Listings
Updating all of our existing business listings will accommodate the changeover to 10-digit dialling for phone and fax numbers. (Don't forget to update the stored numbers in your cell phone, PDA, computer address book, etc.) Updating organization listings is ongoing.
2005: Manotick Legion Fund-raising thermometer
The new building plan and the current fundraising level was added to the Manotick Legion page on our site. We created a web page to save the organization the cost of domains, web hosting, web design, etc.
2005: We've Reorganized
After years of our directory residing on two domains, we finally have nearly all our information at www.manotick.net. Special transfer pages will help people find the most popular pages that were moved (i.e. events, tourist information, city facilities, community associations, weather, maps, churches). This is just good netiquette for the thousands who have bookmarked us over the past nine years.
