Moss Kent Dickinson
Dickinson Days is a festival in the village of Manotick on the first weekend in June every year. It began as a birthday celebration for Moss Kent Dickinson, the founder of Manotick, mayor of Ottawa, and builder of the Mill. It now includes a parade, fireworks, entertainment, crafts, wagon rides, meals, farmer's market, activities for kids, Pioneer Days at Watson's Mill & Dickinson House, Doors Open Ottawa, and usually live music performances. Free family fun in a rural village right in Canada's capital!
