Sneezy Waters (aka Peter Hodgson) started performing folk music in coffee houses, primarily Cafe Le Hibou still in his teens. He also performed in groups, including Nev and Pete (with Neville Wells), The Children (with Sandy Crawley, Chris Anderson, Neville Wells, Bruce Cockburn), A Rosewood Daydream (with Susan Jains).
The Great Sneezy Waters and His Excellent Band toured for many years across Canada. From 1977 until 1992, Sneezy starred in the title role in Hank Williams – the Show He Never Gave in more than 800 performances across Canada, the United States and Europe. In a film version of the play, Sneezy won the Best Actor Award in the 3e Festival du Film Musical in Grenoble, France. The film was nominated for Best Country Motion Picture in the 19th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Sneezy Waters performed at the NAC’s Fourth Stage and other local venues to sold out shows, featuring The Very Fine Band (Dave Bignell and Vince Halfhide – guitars; Ed Bimm – keyboards; Ann Downey – upright bass; and Peter Beaudoin – drums), playing a wide range of music genres. This band formed the basis for The Marvellous!

This contemporary roots band from Quebec performs an eclectic mix of music. A love of musical collaboration, Cajun music and travel brought them together. These talented high-energy musicians bridge gaps and draw parallels between the musical genres that inspire their own songwriting. From Guillaume Jabbour’s roots in chansonniers music from Québéc and France, to Bill Collier’s work as a musician collaborating with many of the east coast’s finest singers and songwriters, to Bill Gossage’s musical culture that draws upon deep roots in the Irish fiddle vernacular, and finally to Carl Rufh's bass work with some of Canada's well known blues acts, Jabbour is a contemporary roots band. Having played in various musical projects (Grouyan Gombo, Les Flâneurs, Dave Gossage, La montagne secrète, The Durham County Poets), they combined their creative abilities forming a project focused on original works. Their album Saint Bernard has 14 songs in french and english.

Derek McKinley is a singer and children's entertainer who brings his joy of life to music in a fun way, inspiring children and adults alike through songs that empower and foster an appreciation for living healthy and environmentally awareness.

Singing and playing music has always been part of Derek's life, playing with bands, DJing, event planning, even singing telegrams dressed as a penguin and a gorilla! The idea for writing children's music started while teaching children in Japan, and adding the "party factor" to make classes more exciting for his students. He decided to share the fun with more people through festival appearances, birthday parties, songwriting workshops, music/movement playgroups and recently an album, Sing Song Party Time with Derek McKInley.
