Matt Chaffey Band
Matthew Chaffey is an Ottawa born singer/guitarist/keyboardist who has been performing for two decades. His rich, soulful voice delivers on deeply personal songs about life and love with a backbeat. The live show is high energy and very danceable. Matthew’s band, which includes a horn section, features some of the finest musicians in the country - Ben DiMillo, Laura Greenberg, Brian Asselin, Cameron Hill, and Chris West.
He has written songs on a Juno winning album, has toured Canada coast to coast and has garnered a reputation as a live performer. Matt is known for his voice work fronting bands The Split and Texas MAC. Through collaboration with Austin natives the Texas Horns, he is known as a dynamic performer. He co-wrote songs for the Canadian blues group Monkeyjunk for the ABC television show "The Rookie."
Matthew's new album “Strange Reflections” was recorded and produced by Ken Friesen, from Blue Rodeo and The Tragically Hip.
